Danford, Wright & Co., New York & Philadelphia printed the notes of 1855.
The back of the notes has a fancy printers design with the denomination.
Signature combinations known on the 1855 issue of the Chattanooga branch
include: A. A Barnes and William M. Churchwell, parent bank cashier and
president 1855 - 1858 and, A. A. Barnes and Will Swann, parent bank cashier
and president 1854 - 1855 as well as the Chattanooga branch second cashier,
B. Chandler and president, J. A. Whiteside.
